Beehives. Aren't they creative? ^_^ kuali lama pula jadi sirung (Borneo traditional hat).
So, ini ialah the simples punya beehive, made of bamboo. One of the income source of the villagers.
Ada sudah penghuni. Lately, I saw this everywhere at my kampung. My mom said the price of the honeybee pretty profitable, so no wonder la dorang semua buat ni benda. Nowadays, most people prefer organic food kan, that's why the price is increasing. Hmmm but why none of them commercialize this business aaaa? Mostly dorang jadikan sebagai side income saja. Lack of knowledge, maybe.
Satu ruas bambu, tebuk lubang di hujung bambu tersebut. Lebah akan masuk melalui lubang tersebut dan berkembang biak dalam bambu. Setelah beberapa bulan, boleh la belah untuk mendapatkan madu lebah tersebut. Then, lepas belah boleh cantum balik and biarkan untuk beberapa lama untuk lebah berkembang biak dan mengumpul madu semula.
Hmmm I love honey...You can use honey to sweeten your juice/drink instead of using sugar. Eg. Honey lemon. Honey ginger. Or just honey and warm water. All healthy and yummy drink lorr.
