Our Little Garden~Part 2

Another story in our garden..hehee ^_____^

New member in our little garden ^.^ Another Avocado plant and the one at the right side is mulberry. So happy and exited to see this boy growing. We just planted it a week ago ^_^. And oo do you notice the thing I put around the mulberry? aha that's dry coconut shell. The purpose is to minimize water loss and it can be a good nutrition source for the plant.

omo You can't imagine how happy I am!...

Few days after the 'Bad dog vs chili' :Bad dog dug the boy out of ground and the root are torn off, and the chili boy is dying..T^T

But, I refuse to give up because I love the boy. The chili boy has a lot of roots, some torn off.

I still believe that the chili will grow again. So, what I do is cut the upper part of the tree and keep watering the plant. The upper part is not mature enough, so of course it will die. With care, love and hope..finally after 1-2 weeks, new leaves emerge from a nodal point. The boy is growing ^_^

hmmm more plants to come soon. My teddy bear purchased some herb seeds online. Wheat grass project on planning. Our garden is expanding, the problem is we short on space.

Our Little Garden

Excited sikit ni ari sebab ada kerja lapangan. Baru balik ni. Punya la boring kalau duduk ofis saja. Itu la kalau kamu tebaca post2 sebelum ni, kadang2 boring la, mengantuk la...Last2 online saja kerja (─‿‿─). ssshhh diam2 aa, jangan kasi tau bos. haha bukan la bha teda kerja langsung. Sambil-sambil bogia. Sambil kerja dengar lagu ka, penat kerja rehat kejap buka youtube. Cari video yang bikin katawa. hehe

Bah, hari ini mau share sama kamu satu tips mengisi masa lapang.

So, for beginner gardener this is our (My Teddy Bear & me) little garden. ^.^

We don't have a land. So, we need to buy soil and pots. FYI, if you are at Pitas Sabah, you can buy soil easily at Tamu Kota Marudu every Sunday morning. I love Tamu. heee.

 We have basil.

Celery. We bought the seed from Milimewa Superstore Kota Marudu.

 Chili plants. Bought red chili pepper. Dry it. Take out the seed and germinate directly into the sand. Easy.^^It will take 2-3 weeks to germinate the seed and not all the seed you put into the soil will germinate. 

 This is lime and lemon. Good boy ^^

The boyfriend found the tip to germinate lime easily at you tube. ahhh nowadays, information is at your fingertips.

 My Chili plant. Only two out of three survive. In Few weeks, its gonna bear fruit. So exited!

Red beetroot plants. Red ka dark purple?...hmmm I think Red la ♥...Beetroot loves loose soil, not have too much clay or too much sand and of course the most important is fertile sand.

This is my Teddy Bear's idea. He is the biggest fan of this plant. He loves beetroot salad and juices. I personally didn't like the earth taste of the beetroot but beetroot + lemon/orange/grapefruit juice. yummyyy awesome juice. I'm drooling. Hopefully menjadi la.

hmmm back to Malay. >.<

 Yang ni sayur daun, biasa orang sini panggil sayur bunga. Tanah dicampur dengan baja kompos. DIY punya baja kompos. So, tak payah susah-susah beli di kedai buat saja sendiri di rumah. Sisa-sisa makanan, kulit buah, sisa sayur - campur dengan tanah, simpan dalam bekas seperti pasu. Pastikan bahagian atas ditutup dengan tanah ataupun penutup yang tidak ketat (mengekalkan pengudaraan) untuk memastikan baja kompos kita tidak diganggu oleh serangga perosak/tikus. Biarkan 4-5 minggu. Nah jimat sudah duit mau beli baja kan? Sisa makanan dan sisa organik yang lain dapat dilupuskan dengan mudah selain mengurangkan bau busuk dan mengelak daripada urungan lalat/tikus.

Ini overview dari atas. Celery pun sudah besar. My hubby suda cabut beberapa batang untuk garnish masakan. Boleh juga campur dalam jus kalau mau. Saya rasa paling ngam letak dalam sup panas. hmmmm yum yum. sedaaap.

My dream shattered!!

(╥﹏╥) Tengok ni...punya jahat tu anjing jiran. Dia pigi korek tanah dalam pasu ni lepas tu siok-siok tu anjing tidur di dalam. Kesian ini pokok cili, berbunga sudah, habis bah ni tanah dalam pasu kana kurik. S.o.b s.o.b baru saya tanam balik semalam. Harap-harap boleh tumbuh balik. ಥ_ಥ susah-susah saya jaga dari biji benih hingga ke pokok (inda lama mau berbuah), kutu daun yang banyak-banyak melekat di daun pun hari-hari saya cuci (kononnya tak mau guna kawalan kimia). Punya kecewa saya balik dari kerja nampak pokok ni dikorek sudah dari pasu, lepas tu anjing tu pula dengan syoknya tidur di dalam. Koto tu anjing, sa umban pakai butul semalam.  (◣.◢)

So, itu la ceritanya. Dalam gembira kadang-kadang ada juga terselit kisah sedihnya. Apa pun orang bilang patah tumbuh hilang berganti. heheh lepas cuti CNY, mula lagi projek baru tanam cili.

Nah, begarden la kamu. Tanam sayur. Lagi berfaedah dari duduk lepak berjam-jam di kedai kupi dari pagi hingga ke petang. hahaha
