Pregnancy, Labor and delivery - Ouick Recap

Hello 2018! Happy new year!

 Its been 6 months since the last post. wahh for 6 months I lost myself in motherhood. 

👶 Lessons learnt - Never underestimate the challenges of being a new parent especially for the first 3 months. After that semua jadi rutin sudah la, so tidak terasa sangat beban. 

Bah, just a quick recap of my labor and delivery :

1.  Epidural?
No
2. Father in the room?
Yes. Infact, he was the one who conducted the delivery and sambut our baby.
3. Induced?
Yup, twice 😅. I was hoping for normal contraction rather than induced but I was 8 days overdue and no sign of labor. Sia-sia saja cuti 1 minggu awal 😓. I ate pineapple, do squat everyday, ML, go walking to induce contraction...nothing..tiada satu pun berkesan. 
4. Know the sex beforehand?
 Yes.
5. Due Date?
26 Jun 2017
6. Birth Date?
05.07.2017 @ 11.15pm
7. Morning sickness?
No.
8. Cravings?
Nothing specific. Kuat makan la terutama pork dishes.
9. Kilos gained?
17.5Kg
10. Sex of the baby?
Baby Girl. 
11. Place you gave birth?
P Hospital
12. Hours in labor Room?
App 2 and a half days la. Berapa jam la tu? Almost 60hours kali..
13. Baby's weight?
3.15 Kg

15. Most memorable event during the labor/birth :
I think being induced, the excruciating back pain during contraction, tahan tu perasaan mau terbiraaaak sudah sebab belum fully dilated tu normal la bagi semua ibu yang pernah mengalami  especially yg first pregnancy. But what happen after labor was the most traumatic experience for me 😢. Kamu rasa apa aaa?...jahitan terbuka? benang tertinggal? kapas tertinggal dalam?...noooo...JARUM tertinggal dalam jahitan 😱😱😱 Terus begegar tuttt bila ingat balik ni. Sudah la jahitan longgar because bengkak tu tuttt masa jahit, tetinggal lagi 1 batang jarum dalam jahitan. For 1 week I kept asking my husband, how come boleh tertinggal jarum? Sa inda dapat terima ni kesilapan begitu boleh berlaku. Terpaksa tahan nyilu kena jahit balik, sampai menangis-nangis ni 😢. First week after labor memang sangat-sangat stressful. Me and my baby masuk wad lagi for three days because baby jaundice, then after discharge saya pula kena jahit balik.

Second most memorable ialah induced part. Induced 4th july, app 7.00am. After a few hour, macm tiada juga ni contraction. Then tengahari, my hubby take me for a walk, naik turun tangga - to induce the contraction la konon...hmmm disappointed, no effect at all. Hubby said "probably this Dusun people aa too tough". That's why kunun lambat tu contraction datang. Don't know la. First induce macam tiada kesan, contraction ada juga tapi tiada rasa sakit ni..
Besoknya awal pagi (5.7.2017) induce lagi untuk kali kedua, nah this was the moment of truth (tapi ini pun lama juga tunggu baru ada contraction)...gila punya sakit, macam mau patah tu belakang. Hubby pun stress, sekejap berdiri sekejap duduk. Saya pun sometimes marah-marah dia bah bila tu cotraction datang, rasa geram ada, rasa mau tumbuk orang pun ada. Part tunggu fully dilated lagi bikin stress sebab mau tahan tu rasa mau berak kan. Apa pun thanks a lot sama staf-staf sana LR sebab bagi semangat sepanjang proses ni. Of course inda lupa my hubby 😘😘 I'm strong because you were there with me. After tahan-menahan, korek mengorek 😅 I delivered my beautiful baby at 11.15pm. Yay! 

16. Feeling being a new mother?
The moment they put the baby on me, I forgot all the pain that I have gone through for a while. So beautiful. The life that I carried for 9 months plus was infront of my eyes, in my arms. That is my greatest achievement - Giving birth to life. 

17. Mau mengandung lagi ka?
Of course. Trauma for a while saja bah. Next, baby boy.Amen.😀

Thats all saja la cerita beranak ni. Apa-apa pun, bagi saya tu sakit sementara saja bah. Yang penting ada orang-orang tersayang bagi semangat (penting masa berpantang) semua pun okay bah. Jadi jangan kamu telampau takut tu mau beranak.

Kinda mix feeling ; Excited, anxious, impatient, happy

Quite difficult to find comfortable position but once sudah di position yg selesa, sleep is safe and sound..

Gender : 

Most probably a baby girl 😘

Labour sign : 

Tightening...and that's all i can recall. My EDD is 26th of this month. Ahhh waiting😅

Movement :

A lot! and it always excite me😊

Best moment : 

Hmmmm same routine everyday...only feel special when hubby not oncall and I can manja with him the whole day, listening to his story, talking to our baby, play music and COOKING...oo he is better than me in cooking!

Also we cooked pork with black bean, Fu Chuck filled with minced pork, prawn and sengkuang ...Yummmm...betul2 food heaven bah this month!

Miss anything : 

Coffee☕, do things normally..lay down on my tummy..haha

Craving for sweet food these past few weeks...kalau ada kawan ajak mesti hari-hari pigi bazhar Ramadhan, unfortunately Pitas punya bazhar x berapa meriah. But macam sedap saja semua tu makanan sa nampak...maybe that's the reason for my weight gain la. Lucky kadar gula masih juga normal 😅

Lately, I've been so lazy updating this blog. Marketing my online business also a bit slow. Hopefully tym cuti bersalin I can do more on these stuff.

Weekend is coming and these Saturday is hubby's birthday...just have a dinner date la 😊 just chill, have some beer + yummy food. Lucky he is not on duty this weekend.
