Mangasok tidong/Menanam padi bukit 2015

The Mangasok and monumpos Team
So, untuk post hari ni saya mau cerita/share pasal mangasok saja kio.
Macam biasa la kalau di kampung kebanyakan kerja buat gotong-royong atau mitabang bilang orang Dusun.
Mangasok pun macam tu juga. So, team ni kali semua uncle, aunt, cousin and kami sekeluarga la.
Team mangasok ni kana bagi dua. Satu team mangasok (buat lubang di tanah) and satu team lagi monumpos (isi biji benih padi dalam lubang). Haha lucu pula ayat ni kalau guna bahasa melayu Sabah. Tahun ni tanam padi di kampung mama. And this is the day to remember sebab for first time my boyfriend ikut and buat kerja kampung. The journey was tiring yet we have so much fun.
 Mama sedang bagi-bagi benih padi untuk ditanam.
The monumpos Team.

 Kehabisan barait kecil, guna plastik saja la. I love the sirung (topi diperbuat dari bambu).
Haha nampak saja tu sirung, capat-capat buking "sirung sa pakai!".
 Lupa pakai sunblock kali dia ni. Kreatif juga la, guna baju saja.
Mangasok Team.
 Haha My hubby bukannya penat buat kerja tapi penat menghalau tu bees yang hinggap atas baju dia. Moreover, dia kuat berpeluh kan, so memang banyak la tu lebah duduk atas baju dia. Yang paling kesian, kana sengat pula, 4 sengatan bah! nasib baik bukan lebah yang bisa. hehe lucu pula bila diingat sekarang. After that kan I asked him ''mau ikut lagi ka pigi ladang lepas ni?". And he said "of course". Aaaah I love you soooo much la.♥
Sama saja sebenarnya kami, time balik rumah (fyi jalan balik naik bukit aa) kami la paling last sampai. Tidak tahan nafas bah. Sekejap saja semput. isk isk isk...Begini la jadi dia kalau kerja lebih banyak duduk ofis, lagi sangat jarang exercise.
 Bergambar saja karaja. Lepas round pertama tanam padi, rehat dulu. ^_^
 Sambil-sambil tu makan nanas dulu. yummm. Sadap oo kalau makan di ladang.
 Lagi satu gambar solo pakai sirung. Ini baru la sumandak Dusun. Hehehe
Minta puji ka tu??? O.O
 Round 2 mangasok saya teda ambil gambar suda. Penat bah. Lagi tanah dia berbukit and kami mangasok dari atas turun ke bawah. Mau hati-hati, salah sikit kaki memijak macam bola nanti bergolek pigi bawah. Boyfriend xda ikut la round 2 ni. Hihi kasi rehat dulu dia, simpan tenaga untuk naik bukit time balik nanti.
 Hampir tengahari siap sudah kami mangasok. They decide to have lunch at home sebab belum lapar sangat juga. Ambil dulu satu foto ramai-ramai. Lepas tu pelan-pelan naik bukit balik rumah.
Sampai rumah....Aramai tieee!! ready sudah si mama 1 baldi tapai. heeeee
haha itu sia inda letak la gambar sini. Next weekendnya mangasok di kampung bapa tapi saya teda balik la. Itu lagi jauh ladang dia, 1 jam naik bukit ooo. Matai!

Bah itu saja la cerita niari.
Sonong-sonongon dikoyu kio.
Babai!

Tiruchirappalli/Trichy India part 3

Hi!
I'm back with the story of my trip to Trichy India part 3. And this is the last part. Yay!
Both day 3 and day 4 stories and photos are combined here. So, this will be a loooong entry.
 Hehe hopefully you'll made it to the end of my priceless experience even though it might sound boring/unexciting because of my broken English and mix of languages. heee ^o^
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Day 3
As you all know (if you've read the previous post), this was a pilgrimage visit to India, but for me this is a tour to learn about their culture, religion and the people. Not much memories of the temples we visited ; almost the same ritual for every temples, the crowd, barefooted, the Hindu temples architecture and the atmosphere (the people). Nevertheless, it was a great experience for me.
So today i'll just share with you guys some of the photos that have their interesting stories throughout these last 2 days.
9.00am : First station, holy bath at Thirunallar, Puducherry. Saneeswaran Temple. Water and bathing have their special significance in Hinduism. A holy bath in the waters of the sacred rivers are believed to purifies the bather of the sins (Source). A bit crowded during our visit because they said that day (27 June, Saturday) is auspicious in Hinduism.
Huhu banyak mau belajar loorr tentang Indian Culture/Hinduism.
We only take 3 fast dip in the water because the water was dirty and oily (for me la).
But amazingly, the local even bath there. Dorang memang sudah biasa bah kali macam tu punya condition. And of course the water despite of its condition considered sacred for them.
Tapi kan, kalau tu tank well mantained, mesti bersih punya. Saya pun mandi kali sana (kali la O_O).
So, lepas dip dalam tu kolam, kami pigi mandi and tukar pakaian di satu lodge berdekatan dengan tu tank. Hehe ada juga tempat ganti baju sana (pondok warna biru ngam-ngam atas kepala saya) tapi mau yang tidak crowded and selesa punya bah. Then after bathed and changed clothes, bawa baju yang dipakai masuk dalam kolam tadi and letak saja di tangga kolam tu.
Nanti ada juga orang pigi kumpul. More information about this temples and Holy tank : HERE
We also visited the statue shop. If i not mistaken, the shop name is Rajan Industries, school of art and museum.
One of the workers there briefing us about the process to make the statue.
The making of...
Cuba teka apa dia mau buat tu??
Got an idea? can see the shape already, isn't it?
Finally! It's a tiny hand. So cute la ^_^.
The sculptor.
If you interested about the process to make this bronze statue click HERE.
Chess sets. One of their amazing collection. Damn heavy lorr! Made of bronze!
Some of their statue collection. There are more you know, outside pun ada (big2 statue).
Next, silk and saree shop. Shopping! shopping! Sitting next to me is the owner of the shop. And dia juga la tukang buat tu Silk.
Maybe macam buat songket juga, kan?
Upstairs is the silk and saree shop.
 Too many choices! Me and teddy also shopping for our engagement and wedding next year. Really take us a while to choose the best combination of color. haha akhirnya beli 4 helai kain untuk buat saree. 1 for engagement, 1 for wedding and the other 2 is special for me (I personally pick them ^_^).
Rambang mata pilih kain sampai inda sedar masa berlalu. Sekali keluar, mau gelap sudah.
Darasuram Airavatesvara Temple
Located in the town of Darasuram, near Kumbakonam in the South Indian state of Tamil Nadu.
This temple, built by Rajaraja Chola II in the 12th century CE is a UNESCO World Heritage Site (Source : wikipedia).
Its late in the evening, but we don't wanna miss a chance to visit this majestic temple, moreover it's just next to the silk and saree shop that we went.
 You won't have enough of the art and architecture of the temples. The stone carvings, so amazing, so unique. No wonder this temples is listed on world heritage list by UNESCO.
 You can read more about the temple's history HERE.
 If not because of time limitation, I would explore and touch every corner of the temples to see how beautiful, amazing and unique the art and how exquisite the stone carvings is. Well, this is my first time! Of course I will be so sakai and jakun and...haha just any word for first timer la.
 Hubby's masterpiece. ♥
He is...
 Mine.♥
Outside the temple. Who want some chips?
~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Day 4. Didn't take much photos. First temple we go today is the first temple that we went on 1st day. This is the last temples we went. There were a huge elephant! haha so exited!
Blessing from the elephant. ^_^
 One of the widely worshiped Hindu god deity is Lord Ganesha: The Elephant God. I guess that's the root why they worshiping the elephant and favored it for a religious symbol.
Geli Geli..haha

So, secara ringkasnya itu saja la cerita tentang my first time experience at India. Memang priceless punya experience la pigi sini. Banyak culture dorang yang saya baru tahu. Time pigi India ni sempat juga la my hubby and his saudara-saudara jumpa tu orang-orang yang boleh tengok their past, present and future life. Actually, my hubby xmau tapi sebab his cousin insisted, so dia pun ikut juga la. Saya xikut sebab that's not my culture and I love mystery, life is a mystery that we need to unlock and experience walaupun dorang cakap semua memang sudah sedia tertulis, and paling penting mana ada fun hidup kalau semua kita tahu kan.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Soooo, itu saja la cerita.  Kalau mau cerita semua memang inda habis ni 1/2 post.
From time to time saya edit la mana-mana yang patut. If there any mistakes, especially the name of the temples and places, please do correct me by commenting below or email me.
TYVM.
Have a nice day!
bye. :)
Wild Boar as a Pet?
Hi!
Who'll ever think to get a wild boar as a pet? None I guess. But 'at kampung' anything (animal) can be a pet. Dog, cat, monkey, squirrel, any bird and even a wild boar. See, this lil sister of mine playing with the boar.
 Above and below photos was taken on August 2014.
 This wild boar caught by my brother at the jungle while hunting.
His (It's male I guess O_o) name is 'kukut', meaning scratch in english. hehe Kukut love to be scratched, hence the name. Weird name in english but in Dusun language that's the most suitable name. Funny name.
This photo and below was last month. Haha big already la. Can make sasau ady. What? So cruel!!
heeee joking! joking! I won't, but I can't guarantee about my brother.
Please dear bro, don't!
See. I've told you, Kukut love to be scratched.
Usually, people at rural area (pedalaman/kampung) raise animal (except dog and cat) for their meat. But sometimes, the kampung kids raise them as their pet. Cow can be their pet. Buffalo, despite of it size, the kampung kid loves them. They build deep connection throughout the raising process. Sadly, undeniable some of their pet still end up slaughtered for the meat. hmmm apa bole buat la T_T.
Google suggest 'why not blogging in Malay?'. I've thought about it and 'yea, why not'..yet I love blogging in English plus writing fully in Malay was a bit awkward for me.  So I'll keep writing in English despite the grammatical error there and there. But I believe there is always a room for improvement. Do care of any error that I might write and please correct me, help me to improve my English. Thank you very much ^_^.
#Enjoying kampung life.
That's all for now. Have a nice day. Bye!
